Maria Teresa Andruetto is an award-winning Argentine author who was born in Córdoba Province in 1954. She is the author of many works in a range of genres such as fiction, poetry and critical articles, and has published several novels including Tama, which was awarded the Luis Tejeda Municipal Prize, La Mujer en cuestión, and Lengua Madre, which was shortlisted for the Clarín Prize for Best Novel in 2007.
