Ana de Biase was born in Buenos Aires and educated at the Fundación Latinoamericana de Ciencias Sociales. She was later to work as a Reviser at Argentina’s Museum of Fine Arts. For many years she has been based in Madrid where she combines her career in literary translation with research into language acquisition and education, having recently obtained a Ph.D. in this field from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid.
