Thalia Pandiri holds a Ph.D. in Classical Languages and Literatures
from Columbia University and is a Fellow of the American Academy in
Rome. Professor of Classics and Comparative Literature at Smith College,
she is Editor-in-Chief of the literary translation journal Metamorphoses.
She has published translations from Medieval Latin, Modern Greek poetry
and prose, Italian prose, and (with Dimitri Oram) Russian poetry.
