Laura Marney is a Scottish writer of fiction and drama. She is the author of four novels: No Wonder I Take a Drink, Nobody Loves a Ginger Baby, Only Strange People go to Church andmost recently My Best Friend has Issues all published by Black Swan. She is currently working on a BBC radio play entitled Niqab to be broadcast in December of this year.
